This has served me well over the past 25 years in the operating room, and I sincerely hope that I have helped a few Surgical Technologists achieve their professional dream as a competent Surgical Tech. But, I will say that I never forgot what that tech said to me; this one comment affected my whole career in the operating room.

I’m not the best communicator with my anxiety, but I sucked it up & I’ve been doing a lot better at communicating things with the doctors & nurses. So, I had to use my communication skills to ask him what he would need, etc., and what he needed me to do during the surgery.

Nursing Conferences = Education This conference offered 2 educational sessions on Friday night, and then an entire day of sessions on Saturday. This year, the conference was approved for Nursing, Surgical Tech, AND Sterile Processing CEs!
