We do send blood samples from a radial artery to a lab to diagnose blood levels, but the lab results take time to be processed. As well, extra oxygen tanks are present in every operating room as a safety back up, in the rare instance that the piped-in wall oxygen source is stopped or is inadequate. You can relax.
